Crestwood ace Matt Wotherspoon proved to be every bit as good as his reputation as he handcuffed the Warrior offense for most of the day. The Warriors got to Wotherspoon for 2 runs in the first, but couldn't generate much offense for the rest of the game. Andre Harris pitched well, nursing a 2-1 lead going into the sixth inning. After walking the leadoff batter, a series of hits and a hit batsman opened the floodgates. Chris Murphy entered the game to put out the fire with the bases loaded and got out of the inning trailing 3-2. Crestwood tacked on a run in the top of the seventh. The Warriors tried to rally but stranded men on second and third as the game ended. Randy McDermott and Sam Eramo mustered the only hits for the Warriors.
