April 30 - Warriors Go Down in Hazleton

The Warriors tallied seven runs in the top of the second inning but couldn't hold back the four homerun attack of Hazleton. Corey Furman and Sam Eramo had two hits each for the Warriors. Anthony Bellino and Ryan Carey each had two RBI. All the Warriors runs were scored in the second inning. The Warriors record drops to 6 and 3.

Times Leader: The Cougars rebounded from a tough extra-innings loss to Tunkhannock on Wednesday with a win at home over Wyoming Area.

Hazleton Area improved its record to 7-3 and remains in first place in the Division I East. The Warriors (6-3) had given up just 25 runs in eight league games entering the day.
