Dylan Maloney pitched a no-hitter*, while striking out six and walking four. Dave Drahus had two hits for the Warriors while Randy McDermott, Sam Eramo, and Anthony Bellino each had RBIs. The Warriors raised their record to 6-1.

NANTICOKE — Getting his first start in league play for Wyoming Area, Dylan Maloney tossed a one-hitter in the Warriors’ 5-0 win over Nanticoke on Tuesday in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division I game.

Maloney struck out three and walked three in seven innings, as Josh Lukaszewski had the lone hit for the Trojans (1-6).

Dave Drahus (2-for-2), Kody Nowicki and Anthony Bellino (two RBI) each had a double for the Warriors (6-1).

* Nanticoke scorer determined there was one hit in the game whereas the Wyoming Area scorer determined that the play in question was an error.
